Primarily Voting Against
Primarily.
The Primary.
Get it?
Sigh.
I voted in the primary today... repub ballot. I voted pretty much against, rather than "for" anyone:
- I voted against John McCain. OK, he's old and has an absolutely ridiculous Senate record: against the W tax cuts, McCain/Feingold campaign "reform", and McCain/Teddy Kennedy bill on immigration. But, that's not the worst of it. I don't think the guy has a personality fit for being president. He seems, frankly, a little nutty. I voted for Romney... whoever he is. Ha!
- I voted against Judy Biggert, my US congress-girl. Liar, liar, pants on fire, Judy. She was elected in 1998 and signed a term limits pledge. Once Judy came within 100 miles of the greater Washington DC area, she abruptly changed her religion and decided she was too important to leave Congress after "just" three terms. Judy, you're a liar. I can't remember who I voted for, except "not Judy Biggert".
- I voted against an increase of Naperville property taxes. This issue seems too silly to be true. After years of real estate boom, new construction, and multi-million dollar tear-downs, Naperville wants more money. you can't be serious. They call it, Build the Future. Vote: F NO!

Another guy I'll vote against... Barry O'Bama. There's never been a candidate, let alone President, less qualified. I'm too old to be voting for someone because they're a stupid rock star or handsome or smooth, for Christ's sake. I guess my only question is, what the hell is wrong with the rest of the old people who should know better.
I'll be laughing and crying if I'm pulling the lever for old Hillary in November. We shall see.
smoke... yow, bill
