Multi-cultural Harold
"Beer Cheaper Than Gas"Ah, "Lucky's Lounge"... an Irishman's paradise, no doubt:
- Bar on 95th street in Oak Lawn

Harold is, of course, The Fried Chicken King. He's on 87th street in Chicago:

In Naperville, well Bolingbrook technically, Harold is white, but still terrorizing chickens:

Maybe "translucent" is a better description of Naperville Harold.
Finally, a cool "record store" (I know, I know... what the hell is that) called "Coop's Records" that's on 87th street a couple blocks from Harolds. It's closed, of course.

All these photos are also on my flickr account (in their original, huge size, I might add) at: www.flickr.com/photos/williamt
I was talking to Principal Spells today about the St Eth web site/blog. I wondered whether the stuff would still be there in 10 years or longer... a history of the school. What will blogger and google and the internet and America and life be like in 10 years. Ya got me.
It's win-win though... because it's all fun, right now. If I'm reading this while the "drool cup attendant" at the cranky old folk's home is attending to me, then all the better. "Listen up whippersnapper... I remember 2008..."
