Merry Christmas to you!
So, I guess this is like those Christmas letters people send out summarizing their year. But the format is a web page with lots of pictures. If I were you, I'd skip all the Bill-blather and just look at the pics.
Below... click on the tiny pic for a BIG one. Go!
My favorite thing about 2013? That's easy. Dr. Holly!
Holly got her PhD in Math in June.
Holly's Mom and I attended her thesis defense.
It was amazing and something that I'll never forget.
I can't tell you how proud I am of Hol.
Dr. Holly is now teaching and doing research at MIT in Boston. Woot!
Ty's 14th birthday party was a nerdy Nerf war.
I mean, if something seems nerdy to me, that's saying something.
Ty played basketball and baseball. He usually played pretty well, but usually for a losing team. Dop.
I ran the Naperville Marathon in November.
My bogey was 4 hours, so I was very happy to finish in 3 hours and 54 minutes.
And I'd like to announce here that I officially retire from the marathon game. Ha!
I also ran a 10K in Plainfield with one of my many ex-wives.
Ed and I ran the Chicago 10K.
I had three boffo vacations this year.
Our Ty-Da baseball trip was a Spring visit to Florida: the Tampa Ray and Miami Marlin.
We partied with Aunt Jan and Dick Jones.
In July, Ty and I went white water rafting in Cataract Canyon in Utah. Yow!
I spent Thanksgiving week in Boston visiting Dr. Holly and Ed.
Our Thanksgiving day included an afternoon of Death Scrabble and then dinner at The Beehive.
Potpourri... Bill's Birthday Book Report Island at St. Ethelreda.
A new orange Sooby. (Ty QOTD - "It's not really that orange.")
Me and the Stanley Cup.
Me and the LetsPlay3 trophy... Naperville Critter, back-to-back fantasy baseball titles!
Jack n Shell's 50th Anniversary. 50 years... jeez!
Father's Day photo booth fun.
Freezing at the Patriots game.
Ty is 14 with the Krieger boys.
Jeez, you made it all the way here. Hmm. I don't think anyone has ever made it all the way through this page.
Well, I wish you and your family a truly happy holiday season. And Viva 2014!
peace... yow, bill
