1977 Bill Buckner
Billy Buck was an excellent ballplayer and a great Cub. The old school stat that jumps out: 453 K in more than 10,000 plate appearances. When Billy Buck came up to the plate, he struck out less than 5% of the time. For 22 years in the Bigs. Sweet!

I really chose this card because it's a history lesson. Ladies and germs, I humbly present... the 1970's. Porn staches and long hair. Shit, hair everywhere! And big, muscly bullying jocks. Billy Buck's card should have a disco ball on top of it. (ha)
Needless to say, these were dark times for nerds. No muscles, no mustache, no attention from the ladies. Back in the day! (ha again)
