The big 3

This page contains links to web sites that I frequent. It's also probably going to turn into a bit of a junkyard as I go along adding stuff willy-nilly. Whatever.

I personally have 3 web sites that I author/run/whatever:

  1. www.williamt.com - this site, my personal site
  2. www.stethelreda.org - St. Ethelreda School where I do volunteer work
  3. william.krieger.faculty.noctrl.edu - my site at North Central College where I teach computer science part-time

The rest is gravy.

Personalized sites

These are sites where I have accounts or some personal login.

del.icio.us/williamt2007 - one of my favorite favorites is my favorites page on delicious. Ha! My delicious page is more function... this page only emphasizes the more important favorites that I use.

www.flickr.com/photos/williamt - I have my photos on flickr. It's great and easy to use. I'll admit... I haven't used picasa yet, however.

williamt777.yelp.com - I just started reviewing stuff on yelp. I used it to plan a trip to the city, and now I think I'm hooked.

williamt777.blogspot.com - I use blogger. My blog is forwarded here to www.williamt.com/blog

williamt@williamt.com - I use gmail for email. I forward email from my ISP to gmail. I'm going to look at google's hosting stuff after the agreement ends with my current host, purehost.

www.linkedin.com/pub/8/515/28 - This is my linkedin profile. I have some connections setup, but I don't use it very much.

Web-related sites

Sites related to web sites, creating them, and stuff:

www.oswd.org - Open Source Web Design (OSWD) is a wonderful resource with CSS web templates a-plenty to choose from. This basic template came from OSWD.

www.kompozer.net - I use Kompozer (sometimes) as a web page editor. It's free and OK. My biggest complaint is that it messes up your existing HTML formatting.

www.purehost.com - I host my site at purehost. Great service and reliability.

www.filezilla-project.org - I use FileZille for FTP stuff. Excellent.

www.pdphoto.org - a nice collection of public domain photographs
