The Flippin' NIBL playoffs started off in grand fashion this weekend with each of the number one seeds claiming a home court victory.

• West Chicago took Nantucket fairly easily 151-113. There was drama, however, as Kobe Bryant left the Laker game in the second quarter. Kobe returns, Beaters win big.
• In the highest-scoring playoff game in NIBL history, and the first-ever tie in a NIBL playoff game, Napa Valley and Aruba dueled to a 161-161 tie. Napa claims the victory on the home court advantage 162-161.
